Cuero Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture will hold its Annual Membership Social and Awards Presentation this Thursday, Jan. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at St. Michael's Parish Hall. Come help the Chamber celebrate “100 Years of Continuous Service to the Community.” The Chamber will honor the 2009 Community Service, Agricultural Achievement, Citizen of Tomorrow, and Business of the Year recipients, as well as announce new directors and officers. This year, the Elvis lamp will be added to the agenda and another person in the community will be selected to keep Elvis and display him for one year. Previous owner, Gerard Gonzales, bids farwell to a close friend. Don't miss the opportunity to see who the lucky person will be. Door prizes will be given, and find out which business has been a Chamber member the longest. For more information, call the Chamber office at 361 275-2112.
