Agnes Buchhorn Sinast

Agnes Buchhorn Sinast went to her heavenly Father on February 18, 2010 at Cuero Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cuero. She was born on August 5, 1918, to Herman John and Anna Wild Buchhorn in Gruenau Community. On November 16, 1937, she married Edwin John Sinast at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown, Texas. She was a kind, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and beloved friend to many relatives and others.
She is survived by one daughter, Nelda Sinast Schulle; two grandchildren: Cynthia Schulle Kainer (Robert), and Melissa Schulle Salyer (Monte); four great-grandchildren: John Sager (Tonya), Tiffany Lorene Sager, Ashly Salyer, and Cody Salyer; one great-great grandchild: Luke John Sager; one sister: Martha Buchhorn Meyer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-law, Erwin Schulle; her parents; and her sisters: Herminia Buchhorn Geyer, and Alvina Buchhorn Alex; her brothers: Gus Buchhorn, Louis Buchhorn, Ben Buchhorn, and Arnold Buchhorn.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau. She was president of the Women of the Church for many, many years and also worked for Walmart for 19 years.
Visitation will be at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero on Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Pastor William Hill officiating. Interment will be at Lindenau Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ray Buchhorn, Vernon Buchhorn, Harvey Alex, Bill Sturm, Richard Geyer and John Sager.
Honorary Pallbearers: Dick McCasland, Walter Buchhorn, Arlen Fehner, Art Mahan, Dennis Roggenkamp, Roger Krause, and Edgar Buchhorn.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Lindenau, Lindenau Cemetery Association, or Accolade Hospice, 222 W. Grand Ave, < >Yoakum, Texas 77995.
