CHS senior graduation pictures available
   Photos of Cuero High School seniors with their diplomas taken during the graduation ceremony are now available at the CISD business office Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cuero High School ‘Open House’ on Sept. 8
   Cuero High School will hold its “Open House” on Wednesday, Sept. 8.
   There will be a presentation starting at 6 p.m. At 6:45 p.m., parents may follow their student’s schedule.
   Prior to open house all junior class parents are invited to the Cuero High Library at 5:30 p.m.

Flu shots offered  in Cuero and Goliad
   The Cuero Medical Clinic and Goliad Family Practice will be offering flu shots from Sept. 11 to Feb. 4.

VCMGA plant sale set for Sept. 11
   The Victoria County Master Gardeners Association will have over 2,000 plants and over 150 varieties for sale at the Master Gardeners pavilion next to the Victoria Educational Gardens at the back of the Victoria County Airport between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m on Saturday,

Cuero captures STAFL title with 18-13 win
   Cuero won the South Texas Amateur Football League title Saturday with an 18-13 victory over the Texas Mavericks in the River City Bowl.

Golf Classic XI set for Sept. 11
   The DeWitt Medical Foundation and Cuero Community Hospital will hold their 11th annual golf tournament honoring Dr. Dan Dugi. The Golf Classic XI, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11, will be held at the Cuero Municipal Golf Course followed by a reception and awards dinner at the Cuero Country Club.

Gentry to perform two concerts this week
   Award-winning Southern gospel singer Patricia Gentry will perform Saturday at 7 p.m. at Blessed Assurance Church in Concrete and Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Thomaston Free Will Baptist Church, located behind the Thomaston Post Office.
